found some obsolete ? ammo in a box of stuff recently. Does anyone still shoot 22 Rem Jet or 256 Win Mag? I'm not familiar with either caliber.

Whatever you do that's got value to it because of somebody has when I guarantee you that stuff's hard to find. My dad just sold a bunch of his reloading stuff because he sold the guns and some of that stuff when insanely expensive then 5 years ago you can buy pretty cheaply. Just saying if you're trying to sell it don't get low balled on it.

S&W Model 53 revolver used those centerfire 22 Rem Jets, also came with inserts to fire 22 long rifle rimfire. Some of those old Model53's were sent out with an extra cylinder fitted, just for rimfire 22 stuff, just a Cool old rig. Sturm Ruger in early 60's, made about 3,000 Hawkeye single-shots in 256 Mag, , pretty rare rig today.
