Yeah my favorite stomping grounds is usually dark lit black spruce, the steiner/burris reticles struggle (others as well but my burris and steiner examples have topped the list for hardest to see).

For the price I'll have to give it a try, certainly checked way more box's than the other options.

Well I will say this, the illumination on them is some of the best I've seen/used!!
