looking for some information on moose hunting and areas to focus on in NW Montana. Been out a few times and no luck locating a bull. When I have cut track on them before elk hunting I was surprised to find the track towards the top of Bar Z. In an old clear cut. Most people I have talked to didn't have much insight on them since it is hard to get a tag.
