not sure how to figure this out

Hello there folks, hope all is well. My question is in part for my new barrel for my 243. The barrel maker has asked me to send a dummy round to my specs, the problem is what will be a great c.o.a.l or ogive. Should I stay with basic factory chamber ? If I give him a long seated bullet and if thay dont work am screwed

I'd pick your load, seat it to 0.005" inside of your magazine length, and send it to them, that way your rifle will be a repeater for hunting, and you can still get maximum performance with minimal bullet jump.

Just my opinion...I'm sure others have different ones.
