Not many of us left doing this.

We sold all our tobacco allotments in the late 1990's. Tobacco was a staple here in NC for decades, but with the more liberal government policies that blame tobacco for peoples choices and responsibility, it is a dying crop. Add to that the need for people to plant, manage and then pick, and you have a crop that is too labor intensive to todays population that expects someone to pay them not to work. Extrapolate that mentality and situation across all our products and staples and we are in a real mess. Time to start looking at New Zealand for the next chapter.

And I still spend a lot of time on my 2020.

We have some tobacco up here in Wisconsin believe it or not, east of Madison. Looks very labor intensive.

Not that all farming isn't, I grew up on a beef/hog farm. Spent countless hours picking rock, bailing hay, etc. Anytime I could sit on a tractor was a blessing...

When younger I used to say that at some point in my time on the planet I wanted to own something made by John Deere and Browning. Accomplished both.
