The SC also tends to flow better out of powder measurers
Makes sense now that you mention the condensed fill charges.SC stands for short cut. Gives you more condensed case fill. Check the burn rate chart for speed as they're the same. Some cases work better with more condensed fill. Ie short mag, SAUM, PRC sometimes work better with a SC type powder. I use H4831SC in my 65PRC. If you don't have a good reloading manual get the new 11th edition Hornady manual and read the entire forward section. It's very detailed with tons of good info. When i was learning I read 3-5 pages a night slowly to try and take it all in. I still reread it 20 plus years later.
Just like Ball powders when you can find one that works. I've heard some folks have great results with 65 Staball in the 25-06. Staball is a Ball powder.Makes sense now that you mention the condensed fill charges.

Yes I like the load data in that book. I will be getting one.Not sure what you're looking for but here's some of the 25-06 data from Hornady 11th edition.

I've done the same thing. Lately I have stocked up with hornady, Sierra and Speer. My max range is 500 yds. Any of these bullets will work just fine. Happy hunting.Well this thread took a detour…
I got tired of waiting on Nosler and bought 200 Sierra 165 Game Changer at Precision reloading. $108 delivered after 10% coupon.
Thanks, the only Accubond I would like to find, are the 110 in 25 cal. I'm good with all other calibers. Thanks again.I did see SPS had 30 cal 150 gr B grade Accubond yesterday. Hope y'all got some if you needed them. They're gone today.
