Northwest Arkansas Long Range Shooting

I live in the Northwest Arkansas area, and unfortunately I can't find any good places to shoot at great distance.

Fortunately, my .338 Lapua is set to arrive this week, but unfortunately I only have a 100 yard range at my disposal. If I drive 1.5 hours to Fort Smith there is a 300 yard range. That said, I'd really enjoy getting together with a group of guys in the area and reach out an touch some metal at 600+ yards.

Are there any groups of folks that have land at their disposal and like to get together to shoot and tell tall tales of hunting and marksmanship?

I live in north central Arkansas near Heber Springs and Searcy. You are welcome to come out and shoot with me anytime. It is probably about a 3+ hour drive for you depending on where you are at......... but I do have a 1000 yard gong set up and can shoot to 1235 yards from my bench. It is a long drive to do some shooting, but the offer is open. Just shoot me a PM sometime if you want to come out.

there's one in lincoln ar hes got steal every 100 yards up to 1000 yards !! its call waldrop shooting range and opens one day a month from 8 am to 4pm need some info text me at 479 616 31 84 will give you the info

We just lost the 1k yd Waldrop range. Has anyone found anything? There is a one mile range in Ninnekah Ok. but thats almost a 5 hr drive for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

chekc out a range near you, A 100 yard isn't so bad.

have one 100 yd close. Use it to sight in new glass but gets boring after you have been banging steel at 1k yds.

Hello, Just found this forum and thought I would ask if there was progress on the range mentioned in NWA? I am getting ready to buy a rifle and would like to find a place to shoot further than 100 yds. I have read this thread and know about Ft Smith, Hobbs and Bella Vista ranges.
