I think it is,
I could see it without it but to really see all the colors and it moving

Had it for a while, but now clouds have overrun the lights, dang it. Glad it was clear last night.

I remember a lot more colors visible to unaided eye as a kid, but I was a lot further north then. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Never did see anything here in Kentucky either. I made it till Midnight…and crashed.

Same here. And had patchy clouds early And that unfortunately did match the NOAA 30 minute prediction model. By midnight it fizzled out.
