No more 7mm08 lapua brass?!?!

This past week I just bought and loaded some 7mm-08 starline brass. I have used it in pistol calibers. But this was the first time in rifle brass. It was all good and shot well also. No complaints here.

For you guys running the alpha brass how's it compared to lapua? I've got a few hundred lapua but when it's done I'd like good options. I do step on the brass hard with the current load . I couldn't run hornady brass nearly as hard and sent it all to my dad .

Based on my experience with several calibers (not specifically 7-08), Alpha is just as good as Lapua in terms of longevity with aggressive loads (I do anneal every time, with both brands). Probably a bit better in terms of out of the box measurement consistency. Alpha seems to have marginally less case capacity as compared to Lapua. However, I will admit that my sample size is not huge. Alpha is MADE IN THE USA!

Alpha, it's also cheaper than Lapua. It also comes in a100 round cartridge case. I blamed Alpha brass for a pressure issue in another thread, but the issue was with me having a Walzs moment. I know how to load this shotgun, just give me a second.
