I finally drew a hunt!! This was my third choice and was really trying to kill two birds with one stone. I really wanted to hunt elk in this area, I have not been there for years but I know this area was great at one time. The Mescalero Indian Reservation is in that unit and they have some huge elk!! So now I will need to get some maps and get to scouting. This hunt is a mule deer/rifle hunt and I cant wait!!
On a another note, not many fellas from NM on here? That seems a little strange? Or maybe like me they just read and dont post much.
