NM area 2-B late hunt

I drew a Cow Elk tag. I was able to get one opening day. Spent the rest of the weekend scouting the area. Still no snow in the area and Temps in the 50's unusually warm for this time of year.

Good for you! Did you have shorts on for your hunt with it that warm, LOL?!!!

Was back in 2b again this year and hunted hard trying to find the buck in the previous post with no luck. We did see a couple of 180 class bucks but they gave us the slip and we could not catch up. we ended up with these guys on the 4 day. Lots and lots of small bucks this year!
