Nickel Plated Brass

I cant believe no one has brought this up so here it goes. The most controversial topic on the forum.

How do you? or can you? anneal nickel plated brass? I know I just opened the can of worms.

I do it in my AMP annealer. Since the AMP sacrifices a piece of brass I'm assuming it accounts for the potential extra hardness of the nickel?

I've load 9mm, 38 Sp, 40S&W, 45ACP, 223, and 308 nickel plated and if you stress it too much it will flake.

I have found that it will split before you wear it out.

To be fair that can happen with unplated Winchester too. I love win brass but every now and then you get a batch that's just stupid brittle at the neck. My only real complaint about them,

Yes, you should notice the higher number compared to normal brass of same cartridge

It could be my imagination but I believe nickel plated brass dulled my case trimming head so l quit using it. Do know if anyone else has had the same experience, would like to know!!
