NIB Weatherby MK5 Accumark 338 Lapua

I have two Mark V's from the new Sheridan, WY plant.

A 30-378 Elite and a 338 Lapua Elite. Both shoot lights out!

The 338 Lapua has a SAAMI chamber- not a Weatherby freebore.

I am a rifle maker, and these guns are impressive!

For what I know: Weatherby puts Weatherby Freebore ONLY on Weatherby calibers.

I'd be interested to know what load best works for yours. I stopped load development when supplies got scarce and expensive. I was working with 285 AMAX and H1000. Bought some 300 Nosler Custom Competion and Retumbo but neverloaded them.

I will certainly keep you guys posted. I have 300 grain elite hunters and 260 hammer hunters on the way.I bought 2 boxes of lapua brass, 12 pounds of N570. I think something out of this will work out. I ordered a base from Richard near(near manufacturing) yesterday...super nice guy to talk with by the way, after I bed and float the rifle I'll get started
