NF NXS 5.5-22 SFP vs PST gen 2 5-25 FFP

I know it's sfp vs ffp but I'm building a 6.5 creed that will be used mainly for hunting and some target shooting. Which glass would better/clearer? I know the pros and cons of SFP vs ffp but I'm wonder on glass which would be better or would it be a wash? I won't need to use the reticle to range etc. Both are 30mm tubes, just trying to figure which would be a better hunting/ target scope? Thanks.

I own or have owned both. Not a fan of Vortex due to their subpar glass quality in my opinion.

So far I have yet to look through a Vortex I would buy. None have glass as good as my Bushnell and the Bushnell is not near as good as my Nightforce NSX.

With money out of the question NXS without a second thought. The glass in the NXS is not the greatest but the mechanics will be hard to beat at any price point. Peace of mind knowing your equipment is going to work is hard to put a price on.

IMO, the Nightforce is better tested, and has a much greater likelihood of providing long term mechanical reliability.

Definitely one of the nicest scopes ever made but about $800-1000 more than an NXS.

tested 2 different off the shelf pst 2 samples and both had right reticle shift with elevation adjustment. make sure and check this if you go with vortex. NF no issues with tracking.

P to the third power, get the NXS and be done with it. Nobody that balls that much out of control should disgrace himself with a PST.

The NXS is not be under-estimated. It does a great job and has very nice clarity.
I would go with the NXS.
