New vortex 4.5-22x50 razor hd lht

Dang - looks like it's worth taking a look. What is the suggested retail price.

I generally don't like a 50 on a hunting rifle - especially if hunting in thick timber - but for more wide open locations - could be interestring. The Vortex scopes I have looked thru gave a very clear pic.

Was planning to get another Razor 3-15 LHT, I really like that scope scope as weight is always a huge consideration for me. Probably hold off until 4.5-22 comes out. Reticle looks a little busy, but I'll give it a try.

That hasn't been my experience with the Light Hunters.

Not at the moment. I'm pretty sure he will do one at some point tho. The scope hasn't been released yet, but optics planet put it up prematurely.

These are made in Japan.

These LHTs pretty good for the money--I still think a small step below the old Bushnell LRHS series. This should be a hell of a scope for around 1200 dollar street price if that is where it comes in. If Maven would adopt the turret that is on these--that would be the way I'd go...RS3 with a LHT turret for $1500...anyway--always welcome new kit that comes out.

Eyeboxes are great on the Razor LHs.

If you use it as a hammer or treat it like a NF on the battle field… probably?
Otherwise, I fail to see how the tube could get bent under normal hunting conditions.

Most scopes are made out of aluminum. NF, S&B, ZCO, Kahles, etc etc. The only material I've ever heard of for scopes other than aluminum is steel. Those are extremely heavy and don't accomplish anything over the aluminum scopes.
