I'm know expert when it comes to silencer but I do have a fair amount of experience with them. I have been shooting them for about 4 years now and I will never shoot without one ever again because of my hearing lose that I have received over my 50 years of shooting. I have 8 of them. Your barrel concern is real 20" to 22" is a great match. I would recommend Silencer Central (Banish 30) not because I think there better then anything else out there but that they give you the ability to take them apart and clean them (Which is Hugh) but also the ability to shorten the length from 9"to 6" for hunting. Having the ability to clean your can is huge, I went to a long range shooting school a month ago and I was using one of the schools silencers (Thunder Beasts) and in one of the drills we were shooting I had to shoot 10 targets in 2 minutes which seems simple but after shooting 5 shots my rifle bolt had a stiff bolt lift because of the silencer was dirty and cause back pressure. A welded silencer that you can't take apart and clean makes it really had to get them clean. You can soak them in solvent for 2 days but never get them clean like new but silencer central Cans you can clean them like new because of being about to take them apart. I will say that you do need to take them apart after 100 to 150 shots or they are a pig to get apart. Good luck and hope this helps you. Randy
