New to reloading

I lie the Forster press, and the Henderson case trimmer.

I also really like the Forrester Press. Mine sits on the bench next to my 50-year-old Chucker.

An expensive press doesn't guarantee better ammo. Decent dies and a good process will load quality ammo on pretty much any press.

What does he consider top-end? How much is he willing and able to spend as a new reloaded?

There is a lot of press in the $500 range that does not require upgrades (for quite some time) for a new reloader. Anyways, for a US-made turret type Area 419 Zero (~$1200+) and for single-stage, Turban CNC Prizzi Press (~$950).

If I were to buy a single stage press, in no particular order:

• Redding Big Boss
• SAC NEXUS PRESS
• Forster Co-Ax

I've owned the Co-Ax, sold it for the Are419 press. I recently sold the Are419 press. It's really nice and all and looks real purdy on the bench. Kind of a piece of art. I wasn't sad to let it go. Nothing wrong with it at all.

I'd point him to the Primal Rights CPS - Competition Primer Seater. That bad boy is a buy once, cry once piece of kit but I really like it.
