Yes, tundra get's mostly green, mixed with dark browns, rusts and tan. For a few months in the summer. Most of our moose hunts are patrolling the River delta (Kobuk valley). I live in Noorvik, Alaska. We have a slightly famous family here on NAT GEO, Life Below Zero, for some TV reality. Caribou hunts range from chasing down herds on the tundra, to waiting for them to pop out of areas during there migration routes, to getting them as they cross the river. Not sport, meat in the freezer. Occasional Griz or black bear are seen. I don't mess with bears, unless they try nd start a fight. Never happened so far.
