67.2gr of H4831 and a 150gr (min is 62.7 max 68gr) used that for deer and it worked well
I stopped at 61gr (max) of IMR7828 and switched to H1000. I wanted more speed and 7828 wouldnt give it. found a good node at 59.8gr though with a 175gr Hornady Interlock.
65gr of H4831 with at 139gr for whitetails under 200yds works VERY well. Yes its slow but, it does the job

I've found with Tikka's long throat that I can generally start in the middle of Nosler's range and work up from there.
Pick a bullet you want to shoot and a velocity window that gets you to your intended range.
With a tikka chamber and mag length I'd suspect bullets from 140-154 woyld work best.
Lucky for you there's probably more published data for 7mag than any 5 other cartridges
Thanks. I've loaded 7 mag for a Browning with 175 Nosler Partitions and they are deadly. Anything from coyotes, wild boar and elk. DRT!
I'd like to try the 140 Partitions and see how they fly.
