New stock for Marlin mr-7

I know this is not the best gun for long range shooting but it is all I have for long range. I have heard that the action was built like the remington 700 actions. I am looking to get a new stock for it and was wondering if any one know if it would fit in a remington 700 stock. if not which one would works.
