Bump. Someone is gonna be smiling when they find out how these shoot. I have the Model 111 LRH in the same cartridge, and a stiff load of RL23 and a 143 ELDX is an impressive combo. Good luck with the sale.

I have this in 7mm Rem Mag, love it. really trying to find a reason to need this one too
What do you mean "trying to find a reason"???? You always NEED another rifle!!! You'll love the cartridge. I bought a Savage in this cartridge of this site a few years back. It shot so well and I enjoyed shooting it so much that I burned the barrel out. It 's got a Krieger barrel on it now and is even more of a tack driver.

Haha, I don't disagree with your logic, but my wife does… it is a fantastic cartridge, better if you hand load and for $650 it's cheaper than it was during the "2020 summer of savage" with the rebates. Very tempting but I think I'm looking to go bigger like .338 family or 35Whelan or completely the other way like 204 ruger or other varmint calibers… 6.5, 7mm, 30 cal, I'm overlapping so medium game to elk I'm covered.

I'm running a 109 gr Hammer bullet at 3511 fps that absolutely destroyed a NM pronghorn a week and a half ago. Talk about flat shooter.

My wife has no idea how many rifles I have in my safe now. She just knows I handload and go to the range a lot, so I stay out of her hair.
I still think you NEED this in your arsenal
