New question on SHIPPING a Firearm to a 'Smith......

Could a 'Smith here tell me if this new law applies to guns sent to a gunsmith for rebarreling??? This new law sucks. Just another way to keep track and document our firearms for later confiscation.

This new law will not affect the gunsmith to owner/customer shipping requirements.

It will affect rifles sent to writers, testers and researchers who may have a new model or prototype for testing.

I'm certainly glad to hear that! The way I read it, the law was in effect, dealing with even sending a rifle to my 'smith as well.
