New optics from SWFA coming soon?

Swappable turrets (perhaps of value to pick a size for your needs) are an interesting idea and the zero stop was badly needed. I'm guessing the 3-15 will sell out before it is determined to be "rokslide approved" or not. Regardless, hopefully they are as tough as the previous generation…and they can keep better inventory.

I'm happy with the improvements and the fact the prices seem similar and not a big jump up.

3-15 was a hotly desired and rarely seen optic for them.

While zerostop is a solid upgrade, and badly needed, and turret configuration is cool, that's a pretty underwhelming G2 announcement.

I'll stick with my current SS until they add a lit reticle.

That, for my use, would make them a hunting scope instead of being stuck on range guns and load verification.

Pleasant surprise, it's not made in the Phillipines or China. I've been on them for years to add a ZS and windage cap to their FFP MQ 3-15. This is about a perfect little mid range hunter.

Ordered the 3-15 SS on Black Friday, it was delivered on Cyber Monday. Haven't shot it but been playing with it in different lights, powers etc. I like it a lot, solid build/feel, great glass, decent reticle, love the combo turrets, capped or flat with thread protectors. Zero stop a plus. For $650 with sunshade I should have ordered two.

Weight on my scale is smidgen under 24 ounces with fat turrets, 25.1 with sunshade. Not bad for a first focal plane 3-15x42mm.

I am thinking about buying this same optic. Are you still glad you purchased it? Have you hunted with it yet? If so, any complaints? Thanks in advance.

Do any other members own this optic, if so please weigh with your opinions as to whether you recommend it or not?

I plan to use it on a R700 30.06 used for hunting at ranges of 500 or less, plus occasional long range target shooting out to 1,000 yds. I have a Zeiss conquest 3x9 which is great for hunting distances, but not so great for long range target shooting or holdover shots. Again thanks in advance.

Since it appears to be in stock, and SWFA has always struggled with inventory management, I suggest getting one while you can.

I have a gen ii, but haven't managed time to shoot with it yet. I think all the changes they made are for the better. I wish the turrets were smaller, but I'm happy with the purchase and there aren't any other optics at this price or below I would rather have.

I haven't mounted mine as it's for this years new build. It's laying beside my recliner so lots of "play time", lol. I do like it and own over 50 scopes— no TT's or March/ maybe a dozen Nightforce which are great scopes. That said I'd rather have this Gen 2 scope on a big game rifle than the NSX line. Japan built, nice glass and all features except lit reticle which is fun to play with but never killed anything with one on.

Should have bought more at the Black Friday price, have looked since and they've been out of stock.

Went SWFA website, sold out now but I'd call and get on a list. Heard they a getting some fixed powers and lightweight s in March. No idea on the SS 3-15
