Born and mostly raised in Washington state. Moved to Georgia in middle school. I've lived here ever since. I've hunted since I was 13 and I caught my first salmon when I was 6, who knows when I picked up my first fishing rod.
I've done a little hiking here and there. I killed my first elk last year. What an incredible experience archery hunting elk in the rut.
It took a few years of marriage for my wife to realize hunting and fishing is a lifestyle for me not a hobby. A few kids later it seems to be more of a hobby now. I'm still fighting the good fight though. Heck that elk I killed last year, my wife was 7 month pregnant lol. I can't believe she let me go 2000 miles away for 2 weeks with zero cell service (thank you Garmin in reach).
I joined rokslide a few years ago and have been eyeing this forum for some time. Truth be told I found a stock for sale in the classifieds that finally made me jump aboard. That aside I will still be a valuable member of the community.
