Greetings all. I was looking for information on my Remington 700 regarding what the barrel twist is and why it will not group the newer faster ammo and came across this forum.
My rifle only likes the Remington core lokt ammo.

Welcome from Arkansas!! the 700 can be a great rifle, when you find out the twist rate, you'll have to give some specifics to get your answer. caliber and some specifics of the ammo (eg bullet weight and velocity). rate of twist usually dictates what works best, eg for 223 1 in 7 or 8 will favor the heavier bullets , while 1 in 12 or 14 will favor the lighter ones again welcome and good luck..
