New is st louis mo area

I am looking to get better/into long range shooting. I currently shoot at ar10 308 out to about 500yds comfortably. I know that the rilfe can go farther than that.

I'm looking at getting a bolt action rifle and was wondering what you guy would recommend.

Ranger Hill Rifle Range is about 3 hours but 1200 yards worth it. St. Louis has a 600 yard range private club. Didn't care for fees. But it's well run.

Missouri mile shooting ranch is about 3 hours from you. It's closes to the lake of ozark area. Steel setup at all distances, 1766 their farthest steel plate.
