New hunting suppressor input needed.

I'd get another Ultra 7 mine has been fantastic….its also the .264 variety but I wouldn't hesitate to get a 30 cal version
I love my Ultra 7 it was my first one and right now still my favorite. My only regret was not getting it in 30 cal. I really like the Nomad LT on my 300prc as well. Just looking for a. Smaller one for hunting. Plus to use on my son's Ruger American compact 7mm-08. Which I'm going to ship off soon for barrel threading.

I applaud your choice of TBAC. But I would go with the Ultra 7 Gen 2 or a Magnus S.
Ultra 5 are fine for the .308 based cases, and would work on a 300PRC but I think it would be lacking in sound suppression and you might not be happy with it.

I personally run an Ultra 9 on my 300PRC.

IMO currently the best (least) bang for length suppressor is the scythe. The DD STI is a bit longer about the same weight, cheaper, and a smidge quieter. It's probably my favorite can.

I'm interested in the nomad XC TI as well, its volumes more than two listed above it should be quieter. But it's bigger and weighs more. All trade offs.

Get the scythe and be happy ;).

Hey everyone, I'm looking at getting a new hunting suppressor in the near future and was wondering if the ultra 5 is worth it? How good is the db reduction on a large 30 cal like a 300 PRC? Also looking at the Scythe and Nomad XC. Already own the Nomad LTi but want something a little shorter that's easier to use in an enclosed stand/blind. . I also own an ultra 7(gen 1) but that's only in .264. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Look at the Dominus too. It's a great can, not as short as the 5 but not as long as the 7. Same or better db as the 7

So, what's the Db's reduction on these suppressors. Shoot with and without, you can get a app on your smartphone to read decibels.
I'd like to know if a $1000 plus is worth it or not. My suppressor is from a decade ago. Works, but still need hearing protection.
