New guy from MT

BTW whats the logic in leaving the 0-200 yard ranges(where most people shoot) wide open so anyone can can walk wherever they want without a RO present, while beyond that(where most dont shootand where the longer ranges are not in line with the shorter ranges) you need an RO to go and hang a target?

Pretty simple. The 100 and 200 yard ranges are on flat ground and can be viewed from the firing line. From the 200, on is where the burms and road goes out of sight with many dips and deep hollows that you can not see from the line. Sorry to hear you are leving the club, but gald you now have a better place to shoot.

Later!

If you are down in a ravine how could you be injured by a stray bullet?Seems any problem could have been solved by installing a "down range" flag that you put up when you head down,no firing while the flag is up,but Im sure locking the place up and causing pepole to walk down there instead of driveing, causing several to quit using the range is a far better solution.
