New guy from Idaho

Hello All, I'm a 28 year old wildland firefighter from Kuna Idaho. I have been hunting as long as I can remember starting on birds rabbits and squirels in northern Missouri and moving up to whitetails and turkeys when I was big enough to draw a bow. I have just recently started to dable in the long range game. I built a long range AR to start with and have been having a great time ringing steel out to a thousand yards and now I'm trying to decide what direction I'm going to go in for a mountain deer rifle out to the six-seven hundred mark. I'm hoping to make some friends and get some advice here at LRH.

Thanks ss7mm, I may be in the planning phase a bit longer than I would like because my wife just brought our little boy into this world. Just gives me more time to make sure I've thought of everything.
