new from the Idaho Rockys

I've been a member for quite awhile, and have gotten a lot of good info from here. I finally decided to post an intro. I live in southeastern Idaho. I love to hunt but am admittedly not very good at it. I shoot a savage in 300 rum. I recently acquired a lathe so I'm going to be trying a little hobby so my first project will be putting a brake on it. I'm hoping to make a 800 yard or better rifle out of it. (with some shooting practice on my part) thanks for having me
