Ive had 3 pair Swaro and I wouldnt pay retail what they are now. There is alot of great glass out there and lots on the used market in Swaro too_One best glass I had was 10x40 Ziess classic and where only not much over 20 oz.Very comparable to swaro and tougher.Ive lost about 4 of the twist up eyecups and had the falcon and other pieces pop of my els, i hunt themhard

has anyone looked through the Cabela's Euro HD's they have a good sale on them right now. Made by Meotpa,

I have no proof of this , it's just what I read on a couple hunting forums . maybe someone here knows for sure .

I've read Meopta made the Ziess conquest line of rifle scopes .I always thought the conquest scope was a lot of scope at that price point . the Cabelas euro's are made by Meopta . Meopta does not warranty these to the purchaser , the warranty must go through Cabelas . if this is true I'm not sure this would be a good thing if cabelas would drop this line of scopes .

while shopping don't forget to check " cameraland " , and " eurooptic " both of these have good prices .

Good point, Found a good pair of Swarovski Bino's used for a pretty darn fair price, Just wondering if the warranty would cover me being the second owner?? That much $$ on a pair want to make sure I'd be covered.

What do think will happen to these optics that need repair, and Cabelas has been bought out by Bass Pro Shops (according to the rumor).

"IF " what I've read is true , and Cabelas drops the line , or Cabelas gets bought out , the owner of the optics could be stuck with no warranty . just something to think about .

if you guys are serious about buying these from cabelas I think I'd give meopta a call to ask about how the warranty works on these Bino's with the Cabelas name . maybe there is no problem if a warranty repair is needed . what I read could be hunting forum BS .

well I Just went ahead and bought the Swarovski EL's I think others would have fit the bill probably but as most say buy the best and do not look back!!

I haven't had much time with any of the other brands but I would also say at least look through some Meopta's. To me they are very underrated for their price. I upgraded to some from a pair of Viper HD's and have been pleased. I also have a Meopta scope on my rifle and have always been blown away with its low light capabilities.
