Sometimes I come across individuals who whenever they open their mouth, they're complaining and so once in a while I'll ask them to take stock of their situation to which I sometimes get the occassional eye roll. I'll ask them simple straight forward questions like.
Do you have a job? yes
Got your health? yes
Wife and kids healthy? yes
Making ends meet? yes
Car get you to work ok this morning? yes
Got a roof over your head and food on the table? yes
Wife and kids love you? yes
Have any alcholism, drug abuse in the family? No
Is the law, IRS or anyone coming after you or suing you? no
Then I wrap up by telling them. Sounds like you got it pretty good
go stop the next 10 people you run into...anyone and ask them the same questions and then come back to me and tell me what percent answered the questions the same way. I think you find your better off than most.
