Need some help with this 300 load

I have a 300 win mag sendero sf2. Has been bedded and a timney trigger.

A friend and I have been working on a round and having a hell of a time getting a round that will go near 3/4 moa or below. I would like for this gun to be able to shoot well a long ways :)

I have loaded the following and am using h1000 powder. Fed 215 and hornady brass. The 78.5 gr is 200 gr eld-x bullets and the 74 gr is 220 gr eld-x bullets. Those are the bullets I currently have to reload with. Any help or recommendations would be greatly greatly appreciated. I just want this thing to get dialed so I can start shooting more and getting ready for the season.

78.5 4.25 was 3.36 moa

78.5 4.28 was 2.40 moa

78.5 4.31 was 1.23 moa. 4 round group was .86 moa. (One flyer by shooter)

74 4.25 was 2 moa.

74 4.28 was 1.1 moa

74 4.31 was 1.61 moa. .91 4 round group. (One flyer by shooter)

Perhaps the 74 grain range loaded around 4.28-4.31 shows promise?

The 78.5 may be good up at the 4.31 range. Maybe even pushed some more?

Thoughts.
What's the barrel twist and type
I have had good luck with the ELD-X, 200gr, with 68.0gr IMR-4350, CCI-LMRP. Velocity Average 2964, with a Std Dev of 25fps.
Berger 215 hybrids H1000 I shoot better than 1/2 Min groups at a 1000yds

I have a Proof 24" with 1:10 and use 215 Berger Hybrids with H1000 loaded 10 thou off the lands and shoot out to 1800 yds with incredible accuracy. I'm getting better than 1/2 min MOA at 1000 yds. Might get some great results with the Berger! Good luck

I hope so. I'm sick of dinking around with loads and just want to shoot the **** thing more

try a flash hole uniformer , fairly cheap

check brass neck thickness and tension,

check neck wall run out

maybe try some dry neck lube ,

weight sorting brass , even dry weight would help

id guess a bullet release tension , ignition consistency, case capacity tolerances , then bullet seating

it's your bullets... I've worked with the eld-x line in two 300 rum rifles, a 300win, and a 7stw with only one good load between all 4 rifles. In contrast I found a load with the 200 eld-x almost immediately in my 30-06 and didn't even bother with load workup in my son's creed (just shot 4350 and the 143- 1/2 moa to start with). Go to the Hornady hpbt, the sierra match (or gameking), or the likes of Berger... The eld-x just seem too soft to be driven from a bigger chambering well...

I guess if it was mine I wouldn't expect much more than 1 MOA groups from a factory rifle. Although I did have a Savage 110 tactical in 300 win mag that would shoot .5 MOA all day with 180 gr SST bullets at 2950 fps using IMR 4831.

I have a 300 win mag that I shot for a few years and had good luck with good ole Reloader 22/73.0 gn. and Sierra 180 gn. bullet depth .002 off lands.
This was a good accurate load for my rifle but they all are different.
Main thing is like you said, getting out and shooting the dam thing is the best way to figure it out.

My 300wm likes 210 burgers
74 g 4831sc 250 mag primers
Just off the lands. You need to back off the load some to start,
The 74g is what works for me.

My favorite powder with 180's has always been the original 300 Win Mag
75.0 of IMR 4350.

If you can get your hands on some RL26 I had good luck with that and the 200 eld-x in a 300 wm
