My 7mag really shoots well with 68gr of H1000 and 69gr of retumbo and the 162x. Oddly, shoots better with a bit more jump than I originally tried. Started at .020" and got them really shooting at .100" FWIW

That is pretty interesting (and VERY convenient). I'm hoping that the H1000 works for me, I have a bunch of that and not much else. More than anything, I just want the Barnes to win out . . .

CB, we've had great accuracy with H1000 in seven different rifles. Most with the 168 Bergers, but should be the ticket for your bullet choice. Good luck
