I have several 6.8 spcs in bolt action and ar platform, and I recently discovered that all of the nosler 110-115 gr bullets have been discontinued... they do still offer a 115 in the custom competition, but I need a good hunting bullet.

Most of my barrels are the 1-11" twist, so I can't run bullets that are too heavy. Has anyone had good luck using the custom competitions on (deer size) game?

I looked at the hammers and as much as I like there bullets, $136 per 100 is more than I'd like to pay.

Yes, their darn pricy……but, they're for hunting with not plinking with. Unless you have a Diamond mine in your backyard! 😉

Use no more than absolutely necessary to develop a load. Then get some inexpensive (relatively speaking) cup and core for your shooting pleasure. JMO. memtb

The Hornady SST and the Berger Classic Hunters.

I use the 139gr SST and the 150gr Classic Hunter in the 7mm-08. I'm the 7mm Rem Mag the 162gr SST and the 168gr Classic Hunter. My wife also shoots the 162gr A-Max (Replaced by the 162gr. ELD-M) out of her 7mm-08.

They both work great pick the one that shoots best.

Have you killed any deer with a 6.8 using the cutting edge?
You noted ...

... and 125 CEBs require a 1:10" or faster.

Often overlooked in this forum, Sierra Match King bullets are available in 107 and 115 gr versions. I have shot Sierra Matchkings quite a bit both hunting and targets. Sierra is my second best bullet used after Nosler . They are accurate and have excellent terminal performance.
