I have a savage 111 in .338LM and need a new scope. I have lots of options but would like a recommendation from actual use. I plan on hunting out to 1100-1200 yrds and target shooting out to 1500- 1700yrds. I like my leupold but I had it off my rifle when my house got broke into. Luckily my guns were locked in my safe but scopes wasn't. I lost all my scopes and some other valuables. Also luckily my renters insurance cover most of my stuff but I needed to add my guns and scopes to my policy. Work of advice call your home or renters insurance company and see if you can add specific things that are expensive. And take lots of photos of it just in case. Any advice is much appreciated.
