N570 powder

338 lm loves 7828ssc...at least mine does and far more available than RL....just mentioning it!
I haven't seen 7828ssc available in a long time, but do have a fair amount on hand. Looks to be a good choice in 7saum and 6.5prc also. Not having 23 or 26 and only some (2# or less of each ) of 25 and 22 doesn't get far.

7828ssc has a bunch of uses for sure. Getting SD of 3.8 with 250 gr Scenars in 338 lm, and Lapua brass, Fed 215 primers

I'm hoping that hd and grand will be good replacements for 7828ssc and 560-570 powders along with 26 and 23.

Does grand fit between magnum and lrt or magnum and hunter?
I just read an article today in Gun digest that suggests Grand is the new replacement for Magnum....H1000 ... although also difficult to get right now does everything 7828 does...just takes more powder for same speeds!

Has anyone tried n570 in the big 338 caliber .with bullet weights 260 to 285 .and also what's a good powder for 165 grains in 300wsm
.338/.378 weatherby - 285 Hammer hunters - 30" barrel - 110 grns N570 sea level = 3,100 fps. No pressure, extremely accurate @ 100 yds & 1,000 yds @ 2,200' elevation.
Only con is have to one shot, not even close to getting in mag. Like 4.106" OAL
