The Pintler is an amazing pack and one I tested very thoroughly on my New Mexico elk hunt. Before the hunt, I researched a ton of packs, but the Pintler ultimately won. I was happy with my decision because the pack is super comfortable and easily held all the gear I needed, including a rifle and bow. Once I got my bull, I ended up using the pack to carry the meat and antlers off the mountain. It was a super tough process, but the pack held up. Been backpack mountain hunting in CO for last 4 years with EXO K2. Awesome pack and the K3 is supposed to be better. Tough as nails and highly functional. Nothing but EXO packs for me.
