I have seen this be less successful with factory tubes, but I have also seen factory rifles respond well to it. Let us know how it flys for you.
On brake build up of copper and powder residue. I never remove a brake much less clean the muzzle. When I clean the barrel the crown get what the patch gives it and that is it. I've not had a problem with it. Now if you rifle only shoots 50-60 rounds before accuracy falls off that can happen. I have one like that right now but most of mine 90% just get shot.
