My reloading room

Current state of my reloading room. Turns out when you bring your first kid home the wife expects you to move your reloading bench, gunsmith tools, bow press and work bench, and basically everything else I enjoy piddling with out of the house so her parents have a room to stay in. So, I'm building a reloading house. Sounds like my room was like 90% of others though, had boxes and totes of stuff stacked waist high you had to move to do anything. And that was after I moved my fishing stuff out to the boat.

My son had a spot for me and him to reload at his place. His wife took it over, and we got moved out. zI presentlyu have and 8 x 12 that we are building. Mostly completed. I having to travel back to Mexico-North for a few months. When I'll get back we'll finish it. I have one person will roof it shortly.

Very smart move. True man cave/club house/no wives allowed space.

If you have a very great wife like I do, you don't have to worry about the Husband/Wife CAVE. Jill helped setting up our CAVE for Animals. This is only part of the animals. Can't wait to post the reloading room.

This was another reason for building the addition. She loves to hunt as well, and between the two of us our house was getting crowded with mounts. Even just euros and skull caps. She doesn't understand my organizational methods though, nor does she understand that even though my reloading room looks like a cluster and a mess, everything has its place and I know where everything is. Therefore she's not allowed to "organize" it. Also, her dog ****ed all over the floor the other day when I'd left the door open. Just another reason to move it out of the house!

Daaang! Some amazingly beautiful work spaces, so stunning I hit the reply tab before I was finished replying!! 🥸

Until I saw 👀 such nice reloading rooms I was happy with mine. Not anymore.

Ill share my used to be nice space and my twin girlfriends 👯‍♀️

Been at it seriously for 2 years.
Amp, annealer and press, SuperTrickler, Mec press, Henderson gen 2 trimmer, the Vice. CPS primer, about it.

How do you like that T track? Anything you'd do different if you made the bench with it again?

Will there be a bedroom in that?

When I look at all your guys rooms and equipment I'm just jealous, I wonder how I even hit the paper with my rockchucker and my beam scale……

I often think the same thing, as I compare my "Neanderthal" hand loading to many of those on this forum.….when their results are not "leaps and bounds" superior to mine.

But, I guess it's like racing……a lot of money spent and hours of meticulous machining for small but very important gains in performance! memtb
