I've built several 22 Creeds. They are just awesome! 80 gr and above do wonders on game. Longest kill shot has been 800 yds with an 88 ELDM. The 80 gr Sierras do great also

If you're going to run 80 and below then do an 8 twist ,85 and up use a 7

I don't have a 22 CM, but I do have a 22/250 AI. Pretty much the same thing with minute differences.

I took a Kimber 84M, had it rebarreled with a Lilja 1-8 that fits in the factory barrel channel and then the barrel tapers to .617" at 23".

A joy to shoot, I have a Leo 2-8 with M1 on top.

Scoped, sling rounds (all up) it's right at 7 pounds. A joy to carry, a joy to shoot and very capable for all I hunt from elk on down.

Lately, I've been shooting some 85.5 Bergs for giggles, seems to like them so far.

Normally I use the 55-63 grains soft points and do just fine.

1-7 on mine...17 inch stainless M24..I use a huntertown arms can on it
