On the crosshairs, I think the MOAR reticle is different thicknesses in different models. I think the MOAR is thicker in an NXS than in an ATACR. At least it looks like this to me but I need to verify this with NF for sure.

Load work up is done on the Terminator. Running just under 3200 fps. with 300 Bergers. and shoots very well. I got busy with work and put it on hold for now but am working to get all my brass final fire formed with full loads. Plus I will need a shoulder die soon too so thinking about that.

Have only sent 2 to 1000 and they grouped well, also sent some to a rock at 2500 here from the yard and I was on it in 3.

Yeah I do like it. It is so simple to set up and run and all fits into a small box to transport. It runs a few FPS faster than the Oehler and it should as it is right at the muzzle and the Oehler if 18' down range. But they run consistent together.

Since it mounts on the barrel can you work up loads for accuracy at the same time you're chronoing or will it screw up the harmonics.... meaning different group size when removed?

I think that is dependent on barrel length, contour, bedding and probably some other things. But it didn't seem to bother this rifle.

It didn't bother my rifle either. I would imaging a higher probability of effecting your group as you barrel diameter goes down but, maybe not.

I have had it effect my thinner 6-7mm barrels, but not at all noticeable on my bigger 338 & 375 barrels

There is room for more. I am using a 5" drop tube and I could get a few more grains with out compressing. But it would be over pressure with this powder.

Jim. I begged borrowed and stole it where ever I could get it. It is hard to find. But what I have now came from two friends that went way way way out of their way to get it to me as a favor. If you find it expect to pay $45 a pound right now.

My load is 111 gr.

That would be correct I would say, but I have never owned one of Kirby's rifles so I really can't say.

Nope, not yet. But I have a spare on the shelf at DE ready to go on if I do.lightbulb

Just been busy, I guess I did do some shooting at 1822 yards about a week ago and was holding 3/4 moa or better. That made me smile.

It's all been good I just need to shoot more and keep loggin drops to fine tune the app.
