Guys I had this in the safe for about 2 months now I had to sell my scope to buy the wife a new house. I have been so pre consumed with Kevin Crams 300 win mag I have neglected Kirby Allen's hard work. Sorry Kirby.

Well I am holding on to some guns for a friend and he asked my to work up some loads for his 308. So I said nice scope and borrowed if for a while he doesn't need it.

Shot the rifle yesterday for the first time WOW no recoil! The Muzzle brake is a work of art. I felt like a kid shooting a BB gun .

Specs
Rem 700 SA trued, bolt fluted, Sako extractor installed
Brux #7 Light target 1-8 twist with APS 3 port painkiller brake
HS Precision stock skim bedded
Factory trigger tuned by Kirby
Nightforce 20MOA base

I mounted up my buddies IOR scope grabbed the re loads and headed to the range. Kirby shot a one hole 756 yard group in testing prior to the rifles return to me( I lost the load info). I just shot a ladder yesterday and went a little too far popped a primer at 47g of H4350 scared the **** out of me. I went to fast had no pressure signs at 46g lesson learned.

Hope you guys like her. In hind sight I would have went with a different profile much too heavy for anything but prone work. But oh well just got to shoot her out I guess.

Nice looking rig. Was the barrel and brake beadblasted or what?...I like the way it looks.

Thanks to all for your comments and to Kirby for the great work.
I shot a second ladder today at 200 yards. This is my first real time loading the AMAX if you have any tips that would be great.

140g AMAX
H4350
CCI BR2
Rem case

I started at 43.8g and worked up to 44.5g I had no pressure signs and the rifle felt good. I want to go up a to 45.5g on the next shoot. I will not go past 46g as I had a primer pop at 47g last time and I am still creeped out by it.
