It's not LGS but a Midway purchase. I could not resist; they were for $31/pound. After shipping and hazmat costs, it boils down to $40/pound, or $15/pound cheaper than the average LGS powder price per pound. There is no Grand in my LGS, though.

I made to a gun shop I frequent about an hour away this past weekend and walked out with a 8lb. keg of H1000 for $385.00 and 4 bricks of CCI 250 for $99.99 each. Told my wife that it was like hitting the lottery.

Grand is supposed to have the same burn rate/attributes as the H1000, but others are claiming more velocity. For starters, I will be using it on .257 WBY and .338 Thor (NMI).

I've been thinking the samething. I bought a Hellcat last year for a pocket carry piece. But recently I fixed a customer's PSA Micro dagger and liked the way it shot. So instead of a Hellcat Pro I'm considering a 43X MOS or 48 MOS. We'll see.
