I put a Limbsaver on my Winchester 70 Featherweight. It makes it a pleasure to shoot. I shoot it some every year. Two bucks last season.
My Model 70 Winchester saga continues.

Lotsa folks like the Limbsaver, though I have zero experience with them.
That old H&H back in the '80's was my first time to replace a butt pad…… used a Decellerator. Been with it ever since. memtb

My first experience with Limbsaver was on my Benelli SBE I shooting 3.5" Turkey Loads with Hevi-shot. It went immediately from knocking the snot out of me to "I heard it go boom, but all I felt was a tap!" Since then I have put Limbsaver on every hard kicking gun I have.
Looks like a Pachmayer on there now and it looks good. I'd stand pat.
I have a slip on Limbsaver on my Veratschnig Austrian Double rifle 7 pound, 7x65R. Without it kicks like a scalded mule.

I did check out a leather coved butt pad from G&H, but they want the outrageous price of $750! I am happy with what I have.
