I believe you need to measure G-1 through G-4 from the branch as diagramed. Not from the base of the antler. Check figure A and apply it to figure C or something like that.

Yes I was very lucky, everyone we saw with a deer had a little two point or a spike. I think a big part of it is because everyone is too lazy to go far from the road.
