Creedmoor shooter

My sister just shot a buck lastnight with a 140 eld-m out of a 6.5 creedmoor. Busted the shoulder and the buck only ran 35 yards. No blood but the insides were destroyed and the chest cavity was full of blood. This has been consistent with my experiences with the eld-m and A-max line. Although I shot a bear earlier this year with the 140 eld-m out of my creedmoor and it bled like a stuck hog. I've never seen a critter hit with a A-max or eld-m go very far.
