I built it myself. Lawton action, manners stock, brux barrel w/my own design muzzle brake, shilen trigger, lawton 20moa base and leupold mark 4 rings

NICE Elk! I can't wait to have my son old enough to come with me. I got a nice 6x6 this year in 16b, but the elk were not really in the area like before. what unit did you draw?

Fantastic story! Tell your son nice job, for us! Nice rifle, great photos. Thanks for puttin' them up. I spent the weekend hunting with my eight year old son. I was proud of the way he kept up, and truly enjoyed having him along. I don't think I told him so. I will.
