Muzzle Breaks and POI

Will a muzzle break change ballistics or point of impact at all?

I have my rifle and loads tuned up and have my drop data out to 1000yds and I don't want to mess that up...but I'm thinking I'd like to have a break installed.

when I remove my brake my POI stays close enough for hunting out to 200 yards . POI after 200 change a lot . Jim

Add muzzle brake then rezero, everything else should remain the same. Have brakes on a 300wm and a 338rum and that's what I have have found.
