Hello,
My daughter turned 10 recently, and we are planning her first deer hunt here in western MT in October. I was hoping somebody here might be able to recommend a few units that might be somewhat easily navigable for a 10 year old? So far, all of the areas that I have scouted are way too steep and rugged for her.
People have said that "east of Great Falls" might be a good option, but I am not seeing a lot of public land out there in onX (please correct me if there are public lands out there).
I'm new to hunting, so she and I will be learning together. I'm trying to do as much e-scouting and on-the-ground scouting ahead of time to give her the best possible chance of success
